It is the responsible of the student to make sure that you qualify with the Illinois State Police (ISP) as a Concealed Carry Applicant. You can find answers to your question at www.ispfsb.com
We are NOT responsible if you take the class and later find out that you DO NOT qualify. We do not know each individual's background therefore we will not know if you qualify. The below is information provided by ISP:
ILLINOIS RESIDENTS
-I am at least 21 years old.
-I have a valid Firearm Owner's Identification Card (FOID) ** NOT REQUIRE TO TAKE CLASS*
-I have not been convicted or found guilty of a misdemeanor involving the threat of physical force or violence to any person within the past 5 years.
-I do not have 2 or more violations related to driving while under the influence of alcohol, other drugs, intoxicating compounds within the past 5 years.
-I am not subject to a pending arrest warrant, prosecution or proceeding for an offence or action that could lead to disqualification to own or posses a firearm.
-I have not been in a residential or court-ordered treatment for alcoholism, alcohol detoxification, or drug treatment within the past 5 years.
-You may be eligible if you satisfy the above and no objections are filed by law enforcement. (Section 15)....
NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN IF YOU LATER FOUND OUT THAT YOU DO NOT QUALIFY!!
If you fail the range qualification you MUST PAY for a retake of that part only. Fees are located in the Services Section.
You must check your qualification status with ISP. No refunds will be given if ISP reject your application.
No refunds for "No Show" You can reschedule on another available date.
If you fail the range qualification and addition cost will apply.
